With a view of the Attersee, the second stage of the Mühlenweg begins, which today leads you to Engter near Bramsche. 25 relaxing kilometers lie ahead of you today, most of which you will spend in the middle of nature on the way through wide fields and after the ascent in the Wiehen Mountains. Two mills are waiting for you today: the Bohle mill and the Hollager mill. The course of the Düte leads you from the Attersee first to the Bohle mill and then behind Wersen through the nature reserve Sumpfwiesen until you reach the Osnabrück canal. On the bank you can quickly cool your feet in the river and go on. The canal accompanies you to the Hollager Mühle and then it goes up into the Wiehengebirge.Over the Schleptruper Egge you cross the Wiehengebirge and after 23 kilometers turn left towards Engter. The small town is the destination of the second stage and a highlight in the center is the St. Johannis Church. After a day in the middle of nature and a long stage, the Gasthaus Rothert is waiting for you in Engter and you can put your feet up.If you are only on the road for one day, then you can leave Engter by bus at several stops. With the line X585 you can reach Wallenhorst within 20 minutes, to Osnabrück the same line only takes a few minutes longer. There you can change to the R11 to Wersen.
