You start at the hip Marienplatz and shortly afterwards you embark on the toughest ascent of the entire tour. The Schimmelhüttenweg is steep, but beautiful in the middle of vineyards. If your legs don't feel so fresh, you can also use the cogwheel train to shorten this part. The point - as it is affectionately called here - is a special Stuttgart specialty. She climbs directly with you and your gravel bike from Marienplatz to Degerloch and manages gradients of up to 17.8 percent. If you take the point, you have to roll back a short distance from Degerloch to Santiago De Chile Square. It continues on wide gravel paths and occasionally also on narrow paths through the Dürrbachwald past the telecommunications tower to the largest and most beautiful heather area in Stuttgart, the Eichenhain nature reserve.Shortly before the University of Hohenheim, cross the Häslachwald in the Körschtal and then head back towards the television tower. In Degerloch you pass the house of the forest before you roll back into the kettle. At Marienplatz you can lick a delicious ice cream after the tour or fill up your energy stores in one of the cozy cafés.

Wonderful tour, you always get to know new corners around Stuttgart. At the Körschtal we drove through a sea of wild garlic 🥰

It is always amazing how many corners in the vicinity of your own city you still don't know. Very nice tour. 👍
