Today I started in Bockholmwik before sunrise. Before that, I parked my bike at the destination in Habernis. The stage length is about 14 km.
At the start it was very cold with -2 ° C ° and the puddles were frozen. 🥶 The sunrise quickly made up for it. 😍
The first 1.5 km are a bit strenuous to complete in the beach sand, to anticipate it, on my tour today I was very often in the soft beach sand. With a 14km route you can do that. 😏
Always towards the sun goes along the beach and through the forest parallel to the
Steep coast up to Langballigau. With its beach, holiday apartments, campsite and all the restaurants, there is of course always something going on there.
From Westerholz it goes on again on the beach in the sand to Osterholz from there a bit over roads 😔 and through the forest to Dollerupholz.
Then on the sidewalk along the Förde Straße, but after less than 1km a footpath leads down to the beach again.
From there I am always along the beach to Neukirchen to the old pier for ferries and then back across the street to the provided bike.

Hello Sönke some time ago we ran the round Bockholmwik- Langballigau early in the morning under similar climatic conditions ... as you can see in your beautiful photos: a wonderful atmosphere ... 😀

Hello Uli, the section between Langballig and Bockholmwik is also the most beautiful part of the route.

    What a morning mood!
And how good the idea of depositing a bike at your destination in advance!
