At 5:53 am from Echem with Timo on the train to Travemünde. Return by bike from 7:30 a.m. Early Morning Rider 😉

Does your gravel bike have 29er wheels?

The idea is great. Up by train and back by bike. At the moment I only have a few concerns about Corona. Was there a lot of people on the train? I definitely don't think so at 5:30, but the time is also inhuman ... 😉

Yes, these are 29er bikes. The slippers are Teravile Sparwood 29 × 2.2. Running off-road and on asphalt is great.

We were alone up to Mölln, then four of us were on the train. Even the short distance from Lübeck to Travemünde, the train was almost empty.

It's a great feeling to have the first few kilometers under your feet while others turn around again before going to the bakery. Many also thought I was crazy when I was sitting on the box at 4:30 a.m. in the summer, but there is nothing better. Try it out, you'll love it!

    Chaupeau on both of you.
Great tour, great pictures and you will definitely remember that 😊.
    And 04: 30h, I haven't tried that yet .... 05: 30h was the earliest for me 🚴‍♂️
And it's true, it is also a "great" feeling, you are already sitting on your bike in the dark / at night and experience how the day slowly begins in our society 😀😀

    @Rainer
In 2020 I went to the Lüneburg Heath at 4 a.m. to hike to the Totengrund and enjoyed the sunrise with two cups of coffee. So many have said you're stupid. But that was an incredibly magical moment and will be repeated every year from now on, definitely!

    Hello Timo,
I can understand that very well ...
As already mentioned, I'll be leaving this early in the next few weeks 🚴‍♂️.
The only small problem for me is that if I leave early at this time, I have to put on warm clothes, as soon as it gets up to 15 degrees warmer during the day, I would have to change ..... 😉
I could drive with a saddlebag and pack things up there, but I don't feel like doing that 😉.
So I wait for the days to get longer and the temperatures to stabilize ...
And that time is coming soon
I wish you a relaxing Sunday.

    Yes, the time is shocking
Last June I drove with my brothers from Leer to Elmhorn overnight, just great the silence and atmosphere 😁
