Short tour with my gravel bike "around the mountains". The starting point is Oppelsbohm. From there to Rettersburg in the forest. A forest path leads us up to just before Öschelbronn. The next forest path passage in the direction of Linsenhof follows through the village. But first we turn right and cycle along the edge of the forest to Oberweiler. From Oberweiler down to Bretzenacker and to the sports field in Steinach.
Through the village and on the beautiful bike path to Hößlinswart. There is a wonderful Easter fountain here over Easter - be sure to see it. Another highlight of our tour follows immediately afterwards - the Hößlinswart wood teaching garden. Here, too, you have to get off your bike and look. Absolutely worth it. This is followed by the next forest path passage. Via Birkenweißbuch it goes to Streich. Our turning point is at the water reservoir. Now down to Birkenweißbuch and over Necklinsberg to the Kieselhof. Shortly behind the Kieselhof again into the forest. It goes down to Rettersburg. Now the last forest path follows above Rettersburg to Oppelsbohm to our starting point.
Overall, I think it's a nice tour for the gravel bike, with some forest path passages and not just tar paths. The tour takes us to almost all parts of the mountains. I will make up for the rest on one of the next tours. Have fun cycling afterwards.
