Today I wanted to have a look at the Märzenbecherwiesen in the Polenztal. It then went a little more uphill and downhill than expected 😄 But the round was great, beautiful slopes, a bit of scrambling, we also went along the water and the Märzenbecher are in full bloom and are a feast for the eyes👍🏻

You were right in the "core area" of the Märzenbecher. Looks very good in your pictures. Your last tour from the Hockstein down was just a peripheral area, but it always has beautiful flower spots. I take from your description that there are probably no impairments there due to the drought of several years. Unfortunately, the gorse bushes on the Heller are already showing clear signs.

Hello Heinz and Ole, the Märzenbecherwiesen are really nice to look at. At the beginning, the meadows are marked out as pastures and you cannot enter them. Then it goes up and down the slope first 😄 Further back in the valley, the meadows are freely accessible and you can sit by the water and admire the white flowers. 😊
Heinz, a larger area was cleared on the right slope. Whether the drought caused damage to the trees or the bark beetle was up to mischief ... 🤷🏻‍♀️
