MM Challenge 279.3/500
Stephan Manthey went for a hike.
March 26, 2021
After a "night shift", the morning round was canceled in favor of sleeping and the lunch break was used for a trip to the "White Temple" in Koberstadt. The challenge allows the running step and that's why I covered a large part of this long lunch break in slow endurance run (LDL).According to the literature, this form of locomotion is not particularly efficient, but thanks to the fat deposits it can last for a very long time.In the heat of lunchtime, I had a rather small fluid deficit.
But that's pretty fast (not a walk) 👍
Hello Karl, it was also more of a test of how slow running relates to fast walking. In fact, the slow endurance run is (currently) noticeably more strenuous for me than the brisk walk for me. For 1km / h more, the pulse is 25 beats / minute higher. But like so many other things, that too can be trained. For me the attraction lies in the (inwardly directed) observation of the body. LGs and have a nice weekend 😊
Hello Stephannice to read that you feel the same way. You described it well, with the observation of the body. I like the style or the locomotion in the LDL meanwhile very much. Some days I manage an average of 7.8 hours, but mostly so 7.3 -7.5 ...depends on the form of the day.Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do my favorite sport, swimming, for several months, that's how I run, fine too ☺Greetings and you all have a nice weekend ✌
Hi Martina, then I'm not alone with this. 🤗 I therefore usually go without a plug in my ear. That way I can listen to myself better. LGs and you, too, have a nice weekend 👍
