The tour around the Lainzer Tiergarten is very popular and always worth a trip. It is not too long, but it does present one or the other technical challenge on the descents. The tour goes clockwise around the Lainzer Tiergarten, a nature reserve on the outskirts of Vienna. The starting point is the train station in Hütteldorf. So you can get to the starting point by subway or S-Bahn.You complete the first few meters on the street until you reach the zoo. Now it's basically always along the wall, which doesn't make orientation too difficult. Over the first ten kilometers, there is always a great view of Vienna. It goes ahead on beautiful forest trails, here and there there are also short trail sections. The longest ascent begins about halfway through the round and takes you over several hairpin bends up to the Dreihufeisenberg. At the end of the ascent, there is a great view to the south of the Vienna Woods. The descent from Dreihufeisenberg down into the Wiental is rather flat at the beginning, but then becomes a little steeper. Without any trailer experience, you will prefer to push one or the other piece. However, the trail is well suited to train your downhill technique. The last piece then runs along the zoo wall again and then you have already reached the starting point in Hütteldorf again. The perfect bike for this tour: Giant Stance E + or Liv Embolden E +giant-bicycles.com/de/bikes-stance-eplus-2021
