Vienna has had a trail center for two years now and what could be more obvious than paying a visit to it. You can of course also include the trails in the trail center as part of a longer tour. If you want to spend as much time as possible on the trails, then the best way to get there is by S-Bahn. It's only a short drive from the Weidlingau station to the trail center. If you are in Vienna for the first time and want to experience one of the most beautiful views of the city, then on the way there you make a small detour over the forest road up to the Sophienalpe. You reach the Franz-Karl-Fernsicht, which offers a brilliant panorama. If you want to strengthen yourself before the trails, you can stop off at the rustic Mostalm inn.Now there is only a short forest path to the entrance of the Trail Center and you are spoiled for choice, which of the meanwhile six trails to take under the tunnels first. Whether Kenda-Line, Enduro-Line or the demanding Hawi d'Ehre, every trail is well built and promises sheer driving pleasure. In spring and autumn, the drag lift also takes bikers up and you can save a few meters in altitude. In summer, however, the lift is reserved for summer tobogganers and you have to climb the 150 meters of altitude on your own. Either way, it pays to buy a day ticket for seven euros! The way back is traffic-calmed through the forest, but you can of course also use the road. The perfect bike for this tour: Giant Trance X E + or Liv Intrigue E +giant-bicycles.com/de/bikes-trance-x-eplus-2021
