Once from the southwest over to the southeast - over long stretches the tour takes you along the historic Wall Trail and reveals a lot of background knowledge about the era of inner German division through numerous information steals. You cycle through beautiful avenues, across wide fields and through open parks. If you feel like more, then just hang on Tour 11 to Biesdorf. You start at the gates of Berlin at the S-Bahn station Teltow Stadt. Only two roundabouts separate you from the banks of the Teltow Canal and the Wall Trail. Along the canal you can discover numerous traces of the beaver that has returned here. Shortly before the city limits you turn into the cherry blossom avenue. The countless cherry trees were a gift from the Japanese to reunified Germany and bloom particularly beautifully at the end of April. A real feast for the eyes!At the end of the avenue, a wide field landscape opens up in front of you. The resident farmer plants grain, corn and rapeseed here. While you cycle on the Wall Trail, you follow the Berlin city limits to the small forest areas around Lichtenrade. Fields are your constant companions up to the village view on the edge of Rudow. The park at the Dörferblick alone is beautiful. If you still have energy, feel free to make the climb. The view of Schönefeld, Waßmannsdorf, Großziethen and of course Berlin is first class. Past the new city airport, it goes over the Seegraben to Grünau, where you will find a connection to the S-Bahn.
