From the sophisticated Zehlendorf to the down-to-earth Wilmersdorf and over to the lively Tempelhofer Feld - the right term for this tour is rich in contrast and yet the green thread in the form of parks and garden settlements runs through from start to finish. From the Zehlendorf S-Bahn station, follow Clayallee for a while and then turn into the narrow Riemeisterstraße. You can pause for a moment in the Fischtalpark. The small pond, over which the bats frolic in the evening hours, is particularly beautiful. On the rails of the subway, which runs above ground here, you cycle past Thielpark and the Dahlem domain with its many animals. You are now cycling over a section of the Berlin marathon route and will soon arrive in the long park area of the Volkspark Wilmersdorf. Wide lawns invite you to linger. The adjoining Rudolph Wilde Park with its deer statue and the small duck pond is particularly beautiful.A little hustle and bustle awaits you in the Schöneberger Kiez, which you leave behind you at the Südkreuz and where you roll smoothly through the wonderful southern area. After a few turns you will arrive at the Tempelhof S-Bahn station. If you like, the extensive Tempelhofer Feld is exactly the right place to end the day in a fitting way. Just watch how kites circulate in the air, perform tricks with skates and delicious specialties are sizzled on the countless grills.
