Today I was in my old home because of the circumstances. For a long time I had considered simply taking my MTB with me to join a tour.Weather was only moderate and temperatures just above zero. At least it was dry. Let's go.I know the Oberste Holz from childhood days. It was a rather boring forest, mostly with spruce trees🌲. Only the southern part consisted of deciduous treesNowadays the funniest things can be found there: starting with a lot of Ars Natura objects to a huge valuable wood place🪵 to ammunition finds (.... no joke!). And a riot brushed raptor 🦅 was also there. The paths were mostly dry. Apart from a few mud passages, which were harmless. - Only once was the end of the terrain 🚳.But see for yourself! And in advance this information to: @Lars: Hopefully the shockboard now meets your expectations? - But remains a temporary solution ..... 🙂@ WolfG * Freiburg: At the wood yard Wert I had to think of you - logically!@ Thomas 611: From there I could clearly see the desert garden (not: bare branches)!
yes, classy and interesting tour, biker lady! .... there are really a lot of logs that are on display for an upcoming or ongoing valuable wood submission. The mighty oaks are particularly impressive (with your bike in front of them)! The "light" grass is (very likely / without glasses ;-) a kind of riding grass that can get really high (e.g. Calamagrostis acutiflora = tall riding grass or also called sand cane). What about the objects from Ars Natura? LG Wolfgang
Thank you, Bergmuffel! 🙂And also thank you WolfG * Freiburg! Very interesting your information about riding grass, which I only know in such quantities at this location. The "Ars Natura" consists of 2 supraregional hiking trails and represents a kind of "art by the wayside". A wide variety of objects are set up in different places. In the meantime, you better need a bike 🚲 to see as many objects as possible and still be able to turn them into several theme days. 😀 I have already planned several sections 🙂👍.
There is really something going on in this area when it comes to outdoor exhibitions. Ideal in times of Corona ?! ;-) I'm curious what else you will publish! 😎
@WolfGFreiburg: Yes, these two trails are VERY long. And then there are the Documenta works of art in Kassel!@Torsten: This little trip was neither long nor technically demanding and the forest is actually pretty tiny. 🙂😉 You just have to spice up the documentation with something extraordinary. Fortunately there was plenty of it yesterday
A few years ago the three of us drove the Barbarossaweg X8 from west to east, some of which is also an ars natura route. Was a nice change through the works of art on the way. Link ars-natura-stiftung.de/index.php/de/alle-ars-natura-strecken
