Today it first goes through the Wetterau until you dive into the Taunus via the Usatal. First you leave Lich behind you and enjoy the drive through the slightly undulating Wetterau, which is characterized by arable farming and small, cozy farming villages. The densely wooded Taunus will soon rise on the horizon in front of you.You cross Usingen and at the end of the village you come across the Hattsteinweiher, which is not only a popular destination for the residents of Usingen. After all, there aren't very many lakes in the Taunus. In the meantime you have arrived in the middle of this low mountain range and have left the flat Wetterau behind you. You not only see the different topography, you will also feel it in your legs. The toughest climb of the day awaits behind Rod an der Weil. You leave the Weiltal and cross a ridge to get to the Dombachtal. The stage destination is in Bad Camberg, in the middle of the Goldener Grund. You approach from above. From the Kreuzkapelle you can enjoy a great view of the city and the surrounding hills before you finish the stage with a quick descent to the health resort.
