The starting point of the tour to Biggesee is directly at the bike shop “Der Radgeber” in Saalhausen. From here you cycle along the Lenne on a well-developed cycle path towards Lennestadt and on to Finnentrop. In the place the Bigge flows into the Lenne and that's exactly what you follow through its beautiful valley. Surrounded by beautiful nature, you always cycle along the river, passing the Ahausen reservoir, rolling through romantic forests and finally reaching the Bigge lake dam. Here you can first let your gaze wander over the extensive reservoir before you drive along the shore of the lake. The route takes you over several bridges that span the numerous arms of the widely ramified reservoir. You are certain to have unique views over the water. Finally you leave the lake to the west and climb the hills of the Rothaargebirge. Thanks to your e-bike, you can master the sometimes crisp climbs with ease and enjoy the picturesque landscape along the way.Shortly before the end of the tour, you roll back down into the Lennetal on a rapid descent and then follow the river back to Saalhausen, where you reach the starting point again. The perfect bike for this tour: Giant Explore E +
