Many large and small rivers have their source in the Rothaargebirge. You will get to know some of them on the Four Rivers Tour. It starts in Saalhausen directly at the bike shop "Der Radgeber". The first river that you get to know on the round trip is the Lenne. On the well-developed Lenneroute you cycle comfortably through its valley. The Veischede flows into the Lenne behind Lennestadt in Grevenbrück. You now follow this small tributary until shortly before Oberveischede. Here you turn south-east and drive up a steep ascent to Einsiedelei, where you reach the highest point of the tour at just over 540 meters. Then you roll down through the wonderful landscape into the Olpe Valley. Along the playful bends of the river you roll further downhill to its confluence with the Hundem. You now follow this upstream to Oberhundem. From here it goes up and down through the mountains of the Rothaargebirge. On the way you always have unique views of the idyllic landscape and wonderful nature. A rapid descent brings you back to the Lennetal towards the end of the tour. From here it is not far to Saalhausen, the starting point. The perfect bike for this tour: Giant Anytour E +
