Against the sun and warmth was the divise today and what better way to explore the vineyards around Volkach. It started at the MainlĂ€nde in Volkach, where there are enough free parking spaces available. The Vogelsburg was our first destination, from the ridge before you can see the Main on the right and left. From Vogelsburg it went through the vineyards at 17 'and sunshine. Eschendorf and Neuses am Berg it went over the hill over Schwarzenau and Dettelbach and from here on along the Main via Mainstockheim to Kitzingen where the old stone bridge offered itself as a snack and turning point . The way back on the other side of the Main led via Albertshofen and MĂŒnsterschwarzach, where shortly afterwards we crossed the artificially created Main Canal to get back up into the vineyards via Sommerach and Nordheim am Main to a very beautiful viewpoint on the Kreuzberg with an incredible 288m The view extends to the Rhön and the southern boom of the Steigerwald. Back to Volkach we drove over the beautiful Hallburg and the last few meters along the Main. Conclusion: A nice tour when it's not about driving km or hm. If it wasn't for Corona, you could stumble from one beautiful economy to another.
