If you want to experience the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park in all its facets, then a "Nature Park Crossing" on the gravel bike is just right for you. On this tour, you drive across the nature park from the Heuchelberger Warte to Mühlacker, full of views and variety. You will experience the land of 1000 hills with all its vantage points, the picturesque vineyards, its cozy villages and cultural highlights in a particularly intense way. This one-way route is ideal for leaving your car behind and taking the train instead. At the destination of the route in Mühlacker, you can get on the train and have yourself comfortably brought back to the train station in Leingarten or directly home. The tour begins with a wonderful view right at the Heuchelberger Warte. The starting point is around three kilometers from Leingarten train station. The route follows the Württemberg Wine Trail for a while, on which you can always enjoy great views of the wide landscape. After this very demanding start, you have earned a break and refreshment that awaits you at the Ehmetsklinge reservoir. You can combine the break at the lake with a visit to the nearby nature park center. Here you can find all kinds of information about the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park and its animal inhabitants. Now it's getting hilly again. The route leads you up to the Stromberg ridge and to the beautiful villages of Sternenfels and Maulbronn. The cultural highlight of the tour awaits you here: the UNESCO World Heritage Maulbronn Monastery. If your stomach growls, there are various places to stop for a break in the old walls. Freshly strengthened, you are then ready for the last kilometers that lead you to Mühlacker, where you can end your Crossing Nature Park on the banks of the Enz.
