Brieger Gänse beobachten
Berlinnic went for a hike.
February 13, 2021
Only recently did I hear about the Brieger geese for the first time. This is the name given to the circular ice floes that form a natural spectacle on the Oder, provided that the freezing temperatures ensure that. If the clods flow tightly enough and thus rub against each other, sounds are created that resemble the song of geese. That’s the theory. We couldn't see the radio play in practice today, but the drama was also worth a hike.
Yes, there are still too few clods on the way for the radio play. But you are right to look very beautiful even without sounds!
Hihi, you know them as Brieger geese and the sea ice researchers call them pancake ice cream. We saw it yesterday on the Oder. 😀
