😃 Great winter day today! I (re) discovered a few old cross-country skis on the top floor. Unfortunately no more shoes. That would have been the ideal conditions for cross-country skiing in Saerbeck today. Doesn't it happen that someone of you has a pair of old cross-country skiing boots that match these old bindings (see last photo) that they want to get rid of? 🙄
No, but I like to come over and learn to ski from you😺😺😺The weather is great for any winter sport 🤗⛷️🏂☃️⛄
Didn't even know that Saerbeck is so beautiful. Picture 5 is great.
Oh, will the cross-country skis be activated now? 🥶👍👋👋👍 Unfortunately I can't help with the shoes. Maybe just take some tape ... ;-)
I've already seen someone on cross-country skis with us. Is currently really useful.Great photos and the deer photo is really great.
I still know the great tour and the type of cross-country skiing. Made a great find.
I still have such skis with boots ... but are "at home" in Hessen 😬🤷🏻♀️

My mother also fetched her old cross-country skis with shoes (like the one on the left in the photo) from the attic for me. However, the binding is extremely hooked and the sole comes off the shoes 😅. For about 240 euros you can get brand new skis, bindings, shoes and sticks - probably not worth it for the occasional winter in NRW ?!
🤗 Thank you for the nice feedback on the tour!@Chris: 😃 Cross-country skiing is actually very easy to learn, especially the 'classic technique', only the skating technique needs a little more practice. Downhill skiing used to be a lot more fun for me, but now I find the beautiful gliding in a great winter landscape almost even more attractive.@Iris: 😃 In the winter with sun, Saerbeck surprised me again, it's really really nice with us!@Constantin: Would probably look quite adventurous, such an adhesive tape binding 🙃😂 Had (very) briefly the thought of whether you could not 'build' a suitable shoe for yourself. However, I lack the necessary know-how and (shoe) craftsmanship 😂@Jutta: It's really very rare with us with such snow conditions and so blatant that there is still snow on all roads, I think it was last in winter 2010.@Peter: Yes, I had in the back of my mind that at some point I took my father's old skis with me, unfortunately, but unfortunately not the shoes, I wasn't on the ball! 😬@Carmen: Maybe you can have them brought to you from home on the weekend, but otherwise I can only recommend you, if you haven't done it for a long time, to 'get on the boards' yourself in Hessen come. Looking back, I did this far too seldom in the Sauerland, my old home.@Inka: Great that you could try the skis 👍, a small drawback that they no longer ran so smoothly! The same thought went through my head as to whether it is really worth buying new cross-country skis from us. In the Hochsauerland there is often enough snow for cross-country skiing, but that's a whole lot to ski from us. There are also opportunities to rent cross-country skis there. I'm also still undecided 😅
This weather offers really great motifs that you have found unerringly. 👏 especially the picture with the deer is a dream .... 😃😊 have you been out with your daughter again?
Oh yes, Saerbeck is really a winter dream 🤗. Very nice pictures 🤗. The deer is so cute 😍. To your blackbird, I don't only have blackbird men on my balcony. I took a closer look and discovered Blackbird woman 🤗. In Münster I saw two cross-country skiers over the weekend. I don't have any skis or cross-country boots myself 😕.
@jenny yikes, possibly the mayor ... he comes to the office with cross-country skis😉
