On this tour you take the beautiful trails and paths north of Freiburg under the tunnels. The highlight is the section over the Kandelhöhenweg, which is not difficult to drive, but mostly leads over trails and offers wonderful views of the landscape. The icing on the cake of the round is the stop at the Freiburg pump track, on which, if you like, you can end the day with a few relaxed rounds. You can easily get to the start of the route by bike. But you leave the city behind you faster if you take a short ride on the S-Bahn. It will take you to Gundel Find in a few minutes, and that's where the fun begins. First of all, it goes uphill over beautiful trails and paths. Sometimes it's pretty steep - so take it easy and just enjoy the beautiful nature in between. At the latest at the stretch, you should stop and enjoy the magnificent view while you look forward to the next section. Because now the Kandelhöhenweg awaits you, which you follow for a while until you turn onto the descent into Glottertal. The rest of the tour is completely relaxed. You always drive slightly downhill, mostly on quiet paths parallel to the road that connects Denzlingen with St. Peter. You will pass through some beautiful villages, whose cafés are ideal for a sweet stop. Back in Denzlingen you can cover the last few kilometers by train. Or you can ride your bike back to Freiburg and make a stop on the really beautiful Freiburg pump track.Tip: In the Black Forest, paths less than two meters wide are generally prohibited for bikers. If you are considerate and friendly, there are usually no problems on trails like the Kandelhöhenweg. It is best to avoid peak times from the outset, such as public holidays or weekends with very good weather. The perfect bike for this tour: Giant Stance E + or Liv Embolden E +giant-bicycles.com/de/bikes-stance-eplus-2021liv-cycling.com/de/bikes-embolden-eplus-2021
