From the train station through the city past the museum courtyard and Rahden Castle, the tour leaves Rahden on the Großer Diekfluss (tributary of the Große Aue) towards Stemwede. It first leads south of the river via Niedermehnen and Destel to Levern. Through the center of Levern and past Rila, it then leads north of the river via Oppenwehe to Peussisch Ströhen. The path meanders through meadows, fields and forests over beautiful avenues with fantastic views and very beautiful mills. This part is a nice opportunity to explore the area of the Great Diek River and get to know the neighboring places.
It ends at the church in Preussisch Ströhen.
In Prussian Ströhen the Great Diek River flows into the Great Aue.
