On this round tour everything revolves around salt and brine. On 15 information boards you will find information about the history of the “white gold” that has been mined in the central Neckar area for more than 2,000 years. The bike tour starts in Bad Rappenau. You leave the city through the Salinenpark with graduation tower and cycle to the Neckar. Here you can take a first break in Bad Wimpfen and visit the beautiful old town. Then it continues on the Neckar to Bad Friedrichshall, which is on the other side of the river. From here you drive to Gundelsheim. You always have the Neckar in view. You can also enjoy wonderful views over wide fields. After you have taken a lap through Gundelsheim's old town and paid a visit to Horneck Castle, you cross the Neckar again and immerse yourself in the wild and romantic Fünfmühlental. A little later you will reach Bad Rappenau again, the starting point of the tour.
