🤩😍🤩The tour was great, although there were about 3km of country road (2 cars) and a few short stretches of road. Overall, however, that wasn't tragic.Because of the snow, I couldn't see the real 😉 underground everywhere. But otherwise it was a colorful mix of forest, forest and field paths in a great landscape and, apart from the proximity to parking lots, also empty, so that today I mainly heard the crunch of my shoes in the snow and the sound of birds, streams and rivers .I will definitely do the tour again without snow. The snow was also the main difficulty today. I often couldn't see the ground and that was at the expense of the surefootedness and a steady pace. But I made it back to the car before dark 😁🙃
Very nice tour and pictures! Without the signs, you could be assumed to be in the footsteps of Jack London with the prospectors. 🤗👍❄️☃️🏔️
Great tour, Gesine. In the weather I haven't been to the area yet, imagine that it would be really exhausting. The landscape around the two dams and the paths there are so fantastic. ❤️
All good ... route length and speed ... under the snow there is seldom mud ... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻well done
The snow was so exhausting because you couldn't even guess the path underneath, so I had to be careful not to bend over. The smooth surface was mostly a thin layer of ice with a mud hole underneath. I found that out quickly😉Around 2 p.m. it started Sometimes to thaw and the snow combined with the mud. That was fun ... 🙃 or tree roots under the snow ...So far I only knew the corner in summer and will definitely take the path again in spring, then it will be even more fun 🤗
My dear "Scholli" ... just 35 KM, under 6 hours ...

Hello Gesine! You did a really nice tour in my old home. I know the paths very well and have to give you my compliments for the time I hiked ... top 👍🏼! The area around the Ennepetal reservoirs is beautiful, both in summer and in winter. Super 👌🏼!
Wow! A really great round, @Gesine! 👀😊👍 In terms of landscape, the area is simply a dream and really impressive that you hiked so far on the snow-covered, partly smooth, partly muddy ground! Your description of the road conditions and the difficulties of walking on it hits it exactly! The hard, frozen crusts of the earth and branches could not be made out under the snow, so you really had to be careful not to twist your ankle ... I saved your lap right away, although I don't know whether I would really do such a long hike will undertake. Maybe when the days get longer again and I've built up a little more stamina! 😄👍👋
@ Hoppalooo ... would be something for a group with the funny creature. Of course if it is possible again. I would like to try the round with you 😉!
@ Hoppaloop:Ankle twisting wasn't the problem, although I generally wear low shoes.Worse was a root hidden under snow at 32 km. 🥴 Since then, my glasses have also known the snow.During these short days, such a tour is only possible if I do without a "real" break.I'm already looking forward to the longer days, then it's time to just lie down in a meadow or clearing, look at the sky and be even more aware of the sounds of the forest.
@ Buddy Anton: with photo and drinking breaks it was well over 6 hours. The 5:49 are the pure walking time.
Still, great endurance!
