The originally planned tour was much longer, about weather and the Harkortsee.
First I left 2 hours late🙈 and then there was also snow pebbles.🌨 For me, snow is even worse than cold.🥶
The tour, which was much shorter as a result, was still nice and fun
Apart from KH Herdecke, the asphalt share is very low. There are all kinds of forest trails in a colorful mix, so it doesn't get boring.
In the Borbach area there are many benches for a leisurely break, probably again in spring.
The area around Hohenstein should be very busy on weekends when the weather is good.
Picture 6 had to be after I can't walk my dream again this year thanks to Corona😔.
    Well, home is nice too😉

Hello Gesine, the tour looks free of snow. How was it with mud?

After looking at the photos, I actually wanted to congratulate you on the great autumn walk! 😅 Then I read your comment. 😉Beautiful area and I'll take a look at it when the days have longer daylight again. 👍

@Detlef: The floors weren't frozen. But I found that the mud was within limits, were only short sections and even then rather superficial, so not deep, for my feeling.@ Schrenki: the area is really nice. I wasn't there before either, just "around" 😉.
Despite the weather, it was a nice tour, just not my time of year, I'm a frostbite
Rain and warm is ok, but cold and wet brrr🥶.
The sun is supposed to be shining tomorrow, then I'll start another attempt elsewhere 🥾

    @ 🍯Honey🦡Badger:
    Thank you☺️ and always happy.
Unfortunately, I lack the imagination / creativity for ideas like you have. 😔
So I "just" walk through the landscape and enjoy nature and exercise.

@Schrenki ... I can highly recommend the stage of the Ruhrhöhenweg between Herdecke and Sprockhövel. Gesine Tour is part of it.

Great performance, Gesine, respect! Especially your pace ...
Yes, Corona unfortunately destroys some plans, what a shame ... But maybe one of the German Way of St. James is an option for you in the course of the year? Don't let it get you down, it'll get better! With Corona AND with the weather. 😉

    @Andrea:
I now hope that I can walk the Frankenweg instead in May, even if it is definitely not the same.
I just love typical Spain: country, people and food.
If I then have to submit a negative PCR test every time, no long-distance hiking trail will work, not even in Germany.
