Today I was on the TraumRunde Dettelbacher Dörfer with Shelly von Weltenspatz. The weather was uncomfortable and the ground was mercilessly softened. So we were mostly with an involuntary mud plateau on our hiking boots and after the tour we were definitely no longer socially acceptable ;-)It started at the city wall in Dettelbach. We left the pretty place past wonderfully beautiful buildings and the pilgrimage church Maria im Sand.Along the fields we reached Neuses am Berg and shortly afterwards the viewing platform above the Main. On the other side of the river, the wine island in the middle of the Main loop showed itself in the usual hatched pattern of countless vines and the wine village of Sommerach on the banks of the Altmain.Next we came to the village of Neusetz and a little later to the village of Brück. Both were rather inconspicuous and without any significant highlights. Then Dettelbach was in front of us again and we climbed down a narrow path towards the many red roofs. In the meantime, the accidental step into a muddy puddle was irrelevant as we had been completely ducked for a long time. It's good that I had a second pair of shoes with me for the drive ;-)Please visit my outdoor and travel blog hinter-dem-horizont.com
