The route passes mainly through a series of low-traffic roads through the valleys of the rivers Sutla, Krka and Sava. In the part where it passes through the Savinjska region of Slovenia, the route is a bit hilly, but every short climb is rewarded with a view of the surroundings.I recommend drinking the obligatory coffee in Kumrovec, in the tavern Kod Starog. If you have extra time and are in no hurry, be sure to read a book from the rich library located in the pub 😉 It is interesting to come across a library in the pub.Kumorvec is a place with a rich history of both medieval and modern history of the 20th century. Kumorovec is known as the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito, and nearby there is a monument to the anthem Lijepa naša domovino near Zelenjak and the Erdody manor near Razvor. In the last part of the route, it passes through a wooden bridge near Cerklje ob Krki. Rarely do we encounter wooden bridges today.
