Actually there should be a quick quick lap today before the Christmas visit comes.
After I received the tip from Marc yesterday, thank you very much for the Weitmarer Holz, I wanted to combine this with a visit to Blankenstein Castle.
    19-20 km were planned.
I started at the parking lot at Haus Kemnade. After crossing the Ruhr it went along it.
"Unfortunately" I met the signpost to Stiepel Monastery there, so that the tour became longer because I just took this detour with me. Unfortunately, both the Stiepel village church and the monastery church were closed
It was worth it anyway, I'll be back in the summer.
If you want to save yourself this detour, you can of course save yourself the way through the residential area in Stiepel, but unfortunately also the way of the cross in the monastery forest.
Otherwise there were again many forest paths, of course also with mud, both in the monastery forest and in Weitmarer Holz with its game reserve or afterwards back via Blankenstein Castle.
Blankenstein is also a beautiful place. I will also watch it again in the summer.
Conclusion: a nice tour with a lot of variety

Hello Gesine, you are doing great hikes around me. I will follow you unobtrusively and will hike one or the other tour. By the way, I am mostly alone on my tours. Maybe we can start together someday. Your tour lengths also fit me. 🙋🏻‍♀️
