A visit to the Zavelsteiner Ruhewald was the reason for this tour. The station of the Hermann-Hesse-Stadt Calw was chosen as the starting point and halfway up the route led to Kentheim. On a natural path, it then went over hill and dale through the wild and romantic Rötelbachtal to Speßhardt, which is worth seeing in every season. After crossing the Teinach valley, the Wolfsgrubenweg and a detour to the Beilstein rock were on the program. The descent from up there over very steep steps at dusk was a little adventurous.
Nice impressions of the path and around 👍 We have already been on the road this year. But if the engagement path is already dangerous, how is the wedding path 😉🙈
I hiked the Mohnbachtal last year. I was all alone with my son, even though it was Saturday. At Christmas I was in Calw Hirsau (I can't think of it, also a gorge), which I also found very pretty. Are you from Swabia or are you from the Palatinate?
Natalie, you must have been to Wolfsschlucht. I also had it in 2020. My hometown is Pforzheim, so I'm from Baden. But in the Palatinate and especially in the Palatinate Forest, I have definitely done 100 tours in the last 15 years. My favorite area! And when the huts open again I will definitely come back more often.
I just looked. Exactly 😃. The Wolfsschlucht. That was at Christmas when we were there. There was hardly any water in it, but it was still very nice. In summer we wanted to connect the Wolfsschlucht with the Mohnbachtal Gorge. When I'm a little better conditioned again 😂. I am originally from Hotzenwald. But I also like the Palatinate very much. I also miss the open huts a lot, stopping off, eating and drinking a spritzer. Let's hope that it will work again in the spring.

Well, something like that, I can get nice suggestions from you. I have relatives in the corner. I also planned a tour through the Rötelbachtal 😃👍

Rötelbachtal is, except in summer when there is too little water, really great and not as overcrowded as e.g. the Monbachtal.
