This beautiful long tour starts in Sesto at the foot of the Drei Zinnen nature park and takes you up to the beautiful Plätzwiese high valley - so a long climb awaits you that requires perseverance. But before you start pedaling hard, the round begins relaxed on the flat bike path to Innichen. Here you can easily curl up and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama in peace. The Toblacher See is ideal for a first break. It is simply beautifully embedded in the mountains and you have a good view of the famous Three Peaks. If you are hungry, you can fortify yourself in the campsite restaurant. Then it continues on the next section of the round, which leads you over a former railway line. Typically for a railway line, this path is relatively flat and mostly runs over pure gravel. Shortly after the Dürrensee you leave the route and the demanding part of the tour begins. You now pedal upwards over a wide gravel road. Even if this section requires some stamina, you will get your money's worth here. The view of Monte Cristallo, among other things, is simply breathtaking and your goal is also motivating: On the Plätzwiese you can breathe deeply, enjoy the alpine mountains and treat yourself to refreshments in one of the huts. The route takes you past the Dürrensteinhütte and the Plätzwiese alpine hut - only short detours are necessary to both huts. The best cake is without a doubt at the Plätzwiesenhütte.Freshly strengthened and rested, a grandiose descent back to the Puster Valley is waiting for you. If you want to extend the round a little longer, you can turn off to Braies Lake in Braies. If you have enough, you instead continue to follow the route that takes you over a beautiful bike path towards Niederdorf and back to the starting point.
