And the next highlight is already waiting for you, because a local wood artist has built a sculpture park here that will amaze you. There is also a small distillery in town - another reason to make a stop in Großgölitz.Freshly strengthened, it goes uphill via Thälendorf in the direction of the Ehrenstein castle ruins, a former count residence of the Schwarzburger. The last big ascent of the tour to the nine and a half meter high Geschwister-Scholl-Turm, which was built in the style of a small knight's castle, now follows over the Zeigerheimer Berg.
