Ben Venue is easily accessed from most of Central Scotland and was a peak that I hadn't ridden in almost 10 years so I wanted to check it off my list. A lot had changed in that time and the majority of the top section was almost unrideable, it was steep, rocky, narrow and washed out. The lower section was great fun, fast and flowing. The views from the top however were stunning and on a summers day I can imagine this being glorious.

This looks like a classic hike your bike up, earn your views and descent. The sort of ride that totally resets you mentally and leaves you feeling physically empty but so content!
