Started the rattler trail from Riverton Football oval which connects you to the Riesling trail after 15k.
Smooth gravel track and easy to follow, slight incline mainly on the way to Clare - plenty of places to pull off at (Auburn, seven hill etc) to grab a drink/snack.
Plenty of info boards along the track providing info on the area. Only disappointment was at the end of the Riesling trail there was no real signage, just the track ending. and a barrier. Stopped off in Clare on the way back for lunch before returning to Riverton.
