This winter hike is suitable for the whole family, as it mostly leads along easy-to-walk back roads and paths. The starting point is at the Tannenheim Post bus stop. From there you follow the Schwendiwiesenstrasse to the south and pass snow-covered chalets and wooden houses. After you have crossed the babbling Ruslenbach, it zigzags up through a small holiday home area.On the following section you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Churfirsten. The Cafridastrasse leads under the Prodalp-Express and brings you to Mittenwald. At the end of your winter hike, you can stop off at the Alpenblick restaurant. You can get back to Tannenheim by bus or on foot on Flumserbergstrasse.
