At Wittichstraße I got again properly ... there was still a lot of apples 🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏 then further along the canal towards Bergkamen ... from there home with a good tailwind from different directions ... especially often from the front 😏

Yes, the oranges from the neighbor's garden can only be seen in the teaser pictures, so you wonder what other photos komoot is hiding.
These public fruit trees along the European cycle paths are brilliant. On my bike tour through Europe, these friendly communal trees and harvested fallow fruit left behind were a good half of the vitamin supply all year round. By chance I drove the 10,000 mile lap in such a way that something was always ripe 🍅 🍆 🍇 🍈 🍉 🍊 🍋 🍌 🍍 🍎 🍎 🍏 🍐 🍑 🍒 🍓. Especially in Germany I got to know a dozen completely new apple and pear varieties. It's great that instead of 'useless' ornamental trees, such types of use are being planted along the bike paths. Harvesting & eating directly saves a lot of environmental pollution through transport, storage and packaging. The kiwis in Macedonia were great: New Zealand had defended a monopoly there for decades and I avoid things that are environmentally damaging and are shipped halfway around the world.

Nice comment @ Traveler😊 Yes, that's right ... when you were on the road, something was definitely always ripe ... you also planned smartly to end the year in climatically temperate Greece Griechenland
