The Obergurgler hut round is a multi-day high altitude tour. Above the Gurgler Talschluss, several glaciated three-thousand-meter mountains tower into the sky, inviting you to great summit tours. In five days, you will travel over rocky mountain trails, icy glaciers and breathtaking peaks. The tour is perfect for experienced climbers - ambitious mountain hikers are best accompanied by a mountain guide.Stage 1: Take the gondola lift from Obergurgl to Hohe Mut and climb to Zwickauer Hütte4 hours - 6.5 kilometersStage 2: On the Hinterer Seelenkogel and Weglos over the Seelenferner to Langtalereckhütte5 hours - 7.1 kilometersStage 3: Over the Langtaler Ferner crossing the Hohe Wilde and descending to the Szczecin hut7 hours - 13 kilometersStage 4: Via the Gurgler, continue on the Schalfkogel and on to the Ramolhaus9.5 hours - 15 kilometersStage 5: Over the Ramoljoch to the Anichspitze and descent to Obergurgl6.5 hours - 12 kilometersSince the Hochwildehaus is currently closed, it really has the fourth stage. If the tour is too long, it hikes directly underneath the Gurgler Fern to the Ramolhaus and plans the ascent to the Schalfkogel rather than an additional day's stage from there.
