We spontaneously decided to take a night drive on Saturday afternoon / evening.
Conclusion: It was very nice 😍. And although we drove in known areas, everything looked totally different at night in the dark. You have to be able to orientate yourself well in order not to get lost 🙈😂
What I also noticed: My light on my E-MTB is actually totally unsuitable for that
In winter, the system is converted to Busch + Müller lighting.
The starting point was near the Jubachtalsperre in Volme in the Kierspe area. From there it went on asphalt, gravel and agricultural roads towards Hotel Berkenbaum and further towards Kerspe dam over asphalt and forest paths. On the way to Berkenbaum you pass a bench with a wonderful view towards Halver, Lüdenscheid. Wonderful to enjoy even in the dark.
From the Kerspetal we continued in the direction of the Wienhagen Tower in Kierspe. In the dark, the mud holes on the paths were sometimes difficult to make out, which was my fate and I had to “get off” the bike in a non-preferred way nicht
At about KM 15 there was another bench where you can take a break. There you can look at the Wienhagen and look to your left in the direction of Kierspe Dorf. Directly above us a starry sky 🌌 🌟. This is where you become aware of your “size” on our planet.
A few more photos were quickly taken at the Wienhagener tower and we continued towards Kierspe Dorf and the Margaretenkirche.
Since it was already significantly cooler, it was from there over the Sankel on the direct route back to the starting point.

Somehow there are problems uploading the tour.
Because of that, I can't upload any photos at the moment, which is not really important because of the darkness 🙂
