Hinter dem Horizont went for a hike.

Yesterday it was that time again: it was time for a dream lap in Kitzinger Land. This time it was the turn of the TraumRunde Hüttenheim-Seinsheim.From the hiking car park, the first step is on the access path to the actual starting point of the hike. The path continues through a forest with an occasional view of the colorful vineyards. We continue on leafy forest paths until the Kapellberg observation tower is reached. Usually you can pick up the keys at the wine paradise barn and climb up. But I suspect that this is currently not possible due to Corona.A staircase leads down the slope through the forest. If it has rained before, be careful here, because the muddy steps are not without ...The next destination is the ruins of the Kunigunden chapel. The ruin itself is not necessarily a highlight, as only the outer walls have been preserved. But the view over the colorful autumnal landscape mosaic is wonderful. It continues downhill until the main path above the vineyard is reached. A little later, the wine paradise barn attracts you with a good franc and recommendable spinach dumplings with Gorgonzola sauce.A small quarry is crossed and then it goes up to the cross on the Tannenberg. Due to the mud, we deviated slightly from the official route and decided to take another bend in the vineyard. From above there is again a beautiful foresight over the wine paradise. Then it goes back to the parking lot. Please visit my outdoor and travel blog hinter-dem-horizont.com

Looks like a really nice little dream tour 😊 The vineyards are beautiful in their colorful autumn garb, a feast for the eyes. So far I only know the Casteller Traumrunde in Kitzinger Land, but this one is now also on my agenda.
