The short Rursee round is much shorter and shorter, but it is no less beautiful: all sorts of scenic and cultural highlights are waiting to be discovered by you on the edge of the trails. There are, for example, the Imperial Rocks, an impressive collection of sandstone pillars that form a meter-high canyon - and you drive right through it. About technical and really fun trails with a little "up" and a lot of "down" you flow down to Woffelsbach am Rursee. Here you can watch the sailors and canoes in the summer at the jetty while you take a little break in this idyll on the lake. The way back is exciting again: You follow the smuggler trail, which today is a great bike trail, whose original purpose after the Second World War, however, was to smuggle coffee from Belgium to Germany. Along the Schilsbach you will collect a few more meters to fully enjoy the final descent back to Simonskall.
