The tour to Copenhagen starts in the middle of Berlin at the Brandenburg Gate. From here you first drive comfortably past Charlottenburg Palace towards the west. Then it goes over the Spree and north out of the capital.On the Havel cycle path you ride past glittering lakes, lush green meadows and through shady forest sections to Oranienburg. The entire route consists mainly of well-maintained bike paths and has hardly any incline over its 49 kilometers.In Oranienburg you have the possibility to stay overnight if you want to continue the tour to Copenhagen the next day. If you only drive this first stage, you can easily take the train back to Berlin from Oranienburg.
