This approximately 30-kilometer tour through the Odenwald around Rimbach is characterized by the wonderful views that you have from different heights of the surrounding countryside. In good weather you can even see from the foot of the Ireneturm to the Vosges. So it pays to take a break from time to time and let your eyes wander. The tour starts and ends in the municipality of Rimbach, which is the ideal starting point for your bike tours thanks to a wide range of accommodation and gastronomy. The playground of today's round is the "Tromm", a ridge which, with its 577 meter high Tromm, represents the sixth highest mountain in the Odenwald. And that's exactly where it's going today. The first ascent leads up to the "Schlangenweg", whose name is the program: This easy-to-drive farm trail meanders in many serpentines slowly towards the Trommer Höhenweg; on top, one of the highest-altitude beer gardens attracts with cold refreshments. Alternatively, you can enjoy some art. The "Sculpture Meadow" makes it possible without obligation and while driving by.Go on. A bit down, a bit high but on the whole you stay on the drumb, take a small extra loop and reach after about 15 kilometers the highest point on which the Ireneturm towers. Although unfortunately not allowed to be climbed, the view from up here is great. Nature lovers are happy about the milk filling station a bit further, where you can tap fresh raw milk. You know: milk makes tired men (and tired women) happy. The last descent is not difficult but not boring, because what she may leave in terms of driving demands, she brings out the fantastic view of Zotzenbach back out. After passing through this small hamlet of Rimbach, it only takes a few minutes to get to the starting point.
