In contrast to the Middle Franconian city of Fürth, the municipality of the same name in the Odenwald, with just over 10,000 inhabitants, is a tranquil resort, where you can live well and have a great time around the city. This community is today the starting point for a short but crisp mountain bike tour with three regular climbs. Characteristic of this round is that you mostly drive uphill on easy-to-ride forest roads, while the descents lead rather over technically demanding singletrack. A really nice bike fun awaits you on the next 30 kilometers.Rise number one leads you up to the 484 meter high Erzberg, which comes up with the first reward: It follows a fun single trail back to the edge of the forest of Fürth, from where you can enjoy the beautiful view. And again it says: climb. Rauf after Aldermen, not quite as long but quite crisp. Shortly before the end of this ascent, we have built a small dangling into the tour, which leads you to the forest restaurant Altlechtern and you should take, of course, only if you feel like a break in the beautiful nature of the Odenwaldes have.A flowy trail later comes the meanest climb of the day. Bite once and you've made it: The Wagenberg is with its 535 meters the highest point of the tour. Up here is a cool solid rock bench with great views. To stop for a while, to sit on the cooling rock and to enjoy the view into the valley - that's how much time you have to spend. Besides, it does not hurt to breathe for a while so that you can take full advantage of the last part of this tour. Almost five kilometers of clean descent are waiting for you. It goes up technically, the singletrack promises a lot of fun. Shortly before Fürth still a tiny little rise awaits you. The last trail of the day spits you out right in the picturesque resort.
