The second adventure tour on the sunny island of Usedom takes you to Peenemünde with its toy and technology museum and through beautiful nature along white sandy beaches near Karlshagen and Trassenheide. The regional express or Intercity takes you from Berlin to Züssow or from Hamburg to Stralsund. From here you have a connection to the Usedomer Bäderbahn, which takes you to Zinnowitz, where you will find many cozy accommodations. To the starting point of the tour, you use the bathing train and drive to Peenemünde. If you like, you can spend some time right here before you really start your hike. Exciting impressions await in the toy museum and the historical-technical museum. In the latter, you can explore areas that are in the restricted area, such as test stand VII, from where the world's first rocket flew into space. Then it goes on to the Peenestrom. Here it is worth looking up from time to time, because you are now walking past a large breeding site for gray herons. With a little luck, they will circle over you before heading back to the banks to hunt fish. A leisurely path takes you past the reed belt of the Cämmerer See to Karlshagen. One or the other perfect postcard motif is now right in front of you and shell seekers do not go away empty-handed. Once you have left the bathing resort behind you, a narrow path winds through fragrant pine forests to Trassenheide, where you can stop for a stop or two.The gently rushing waves of the Baltic Sea accompany you to the Zinnowitz pier, which protrudes an impressive 300 meters into the sea. At the very end of the bridge you can use the diving bell to take a look into the world below the surface of the sea. A successful tour end!
