Do we trust the weather forecast ???
Good question and not that easy to answer.
The fact is: We were motivated to run and take a few (small) showers ...
but not exactly a "full shower".
    But one after the other.
The weather was not so great at first, but now dry, so off to one of our favorite paths, along the Heimbach reservoir to the Art Nouveau power plant.
Via the holiday resort ascent to the Rurtalsperre and along it until the ascent to the Kermeter, especially the Hirschley, follows.
The first small rainfall gives the forest its special atmosphere and allows us to stride quickly.
The Hirschley is dry again but also well attended and so we continue over the Kermeter towards Mariawald Monastery.
Three kilometers before the monastery it really starts from above ... we are getting faster and the "rain columns" of our jackets are reaching their limits ...
Once we get wet, we take the opportunity to take two more photos ... then we have reached the "saving" monastery with its soup kitchen.
The rain stops and the Way of the Cross now brings us quickly back to Heimbach.
Then the sky turns blue and serves us the most beautiful autumn colors on the last meters,
but doesn't manage to dry us anymore ...

A wonderful tour with beautiful autumn colors. Yeah, yesterday I got really wet too.
But the last pictures show that it has become really sunny again. 👍
