Should actually be a quiet train route tour🛣 over the Balkantrasse ..... but then I have built in the Schloss-Burg🏰, which is an absolute highlight, the Hammertal and here and there a shortcut through the forest ... 🌳🌲
My companion was pissed off, I think he'll never go with me again. 🚴 🚲
To evaluate the tour, I'll put it this way ..... Without MTB it wouldn't work so well, without "E" either, and there were quite a few stretches of road. Some even drive a lot. The worst idea was to drive through Remscheid City, because there you share the bike paths either with pedestrians or with cars and what feels like 100 traffic lights that are always red ... The Balkan terrace itself is a dead straight asphalt road with no ups and downs. ... You can collect kilometers there, set speed records, because there is actually nothing to see, except the Burscheider train station, which is now a beer garden 🍻, could be entered as the destination 😀 ... otherwise ... it was nice .. . in the forest. 😂

Benji, I can only recommend the castle to you, but choose a great day, because yesterday everything was closed, tight, empty and also closed, even the toilets 🤨 ... day off totally. I don't know why that was, it could be that it was due to the day of the week, the weather, Corona, the season ... or everything together ... 🤔

Nice tour with nice photos. And the Hammertal is awesome. Is currently the right time of year for such tours when it is not raining.

Thanks Rolf and well, as far as the weather is concerned, I was hoping for more sun. We had had a haze in the air all morning, it wasn't until the afternoon that the sun finally came out. From then on it was really nice. 😀

@ Michael Staniek: Monday is not a museum day in Germany - so the castle is also closed. On Sunday all hell was going on in the whole area (hikers, cyclists, dogs ... also children 😃

Yes, cosmetics, that's what I thought. My day off is also Monday, as is the case with the museum attendant 🤣 .... But the bike paths are empty 🧹 So there is something good too.

Hi Michael, I hope your companion🚴‍♂️ is mildly tempered again🤗 ... wild, unforeseen, spontaneous MTB tours through the Bergisches Wald🌳🐿🌳🦔🌳 are also something for adventurers! The tour was very varied ... the Balkan Terrace is also on my plan, the Bergisches Land is beautiful and the Hammertal 🔨⚒ I don't know the hammer photos yet. That's why I'm happy about great travel reports!
... In addition, the chats with you are also interesting and amusing ... even has something of a cheerful job 👨‍🎓👨‍🏫👨‍🍳👨‍🔬👷‍♂️🕵️‍♂️👮‍♂️👨‍🚒👨‍🚀👨 ‍✈️👨‍🎨👨‍💻👨‍🔧👨‍🌾guess😏 ... always nice to read.
    I leave greetings there! 😊

Hello Sista 😀 You know that I am really happy about your comments, because it is precisely these that make the chat process interesting and amusing.
Yes father will catch himself again. In the car he smiled again on the way back. The next time I'll take it to Münsterland, there it can be carried away by the wind in the lowlands and enjoy ..... 😉
My job is not quite in the top selection, so guess what?
The tour was actually varied, but you have to deal with the many road sections. In retrospect I tried to plan the tour differently in case I wanted to ride it again, but there are not so many alternatives. Well, I have planned two more tours in this area, let's see how they will be. In any case, I want to go back to Burscheid to the 🚂 train station / beer garden 🍺 but only in summer with ☀️ and without 😷 .... that's the plan 😏
I was happy to read something from you again, greetings back ....

... then I wish your dad a tailwind on all sides 🚴‍♂️💨 on the Münsterland Tour! It will only be difficult for you to plan if you have to take the thermals or wind direction into account beforehand.
During the course of your tour I saw that you did a decent lap of honor at Altenberg. 😉 ... could have been me, according to the motto, you can try it
Yes, dear Michael, I've actually already decided what job you have😊 ... but there are a few to consider ... I mean, who has Mondays * always * off except ⛪, ✂️💇‍♂️💇‍♀️💆 ‍♀️ but there are also self-employed people ihren who can choose their day off themselves.
In any case, I think it's great that you consistently use your day off for sporting activities in nature and take us on your wonderful tours virtually every week.
Right now, when everything is a bit limited, I am happy about your travel reports.
