The snowshoe hike to the Hohe Trett is one of the more demanding tours in this collection. For almost eleven kilometers you hike the wonderful surroundings of Aigen in the Ennstal, which gives you some spectacular views of the Grimming and the Ennstal. An unforgettable experience not only for real pleasure hikers, but also for beginners with good fitness levels. The tour starts at the Möslhof mountain farm, which is best reached by car. From here you first hike towards the Stalingrad Chapel. To reach it, you have to plan a short detour - but the view you have from there of the Grimming easily makes up for it.Back on the actual tour, forest roads now lead you, which soon change into natural paths over a wooded ridge up to the summit. The beautiful summit cross marks your destination, the view will leave you amazed. If you have brought some provisions with you, which is recommended on this tour without refreshment stops, you can unpack and enjoy it here - before you then walk back to the starting point, partly on the same path.
