Dave Spielmann, mountain bike guide from the Engadine, takes us on one of his absolute favorite tours: the Bernina Express. The short tour is wonderfully varied and inspires you with many partly natural, partly laid out single trails, stony hiking trails and gentle flow trails. At the top of the Bernina Pass you have the choice: you can turn around and enjoy the trail back to Pontresina or continue the tour with a "loop" in high alpine terrain. So if you fancy steep climbs, open meadows, small lakes and stream crossings, just add a loop!If, on the other hand, you would rather save a little energy, there is also a great alternative: The Bernina Express runs to the Bernina Pass, from which you can relax and enjoy the view of the magnificent landscape. You can already see whether it's a high alpine adventure or a relaxed trail circuit: everything is possible here.
