If you are looking for pure nature, silence and peace in a charming landscape, you have come to the right place.The starting point of the Hochgerichtsweg is in Kleinich and from there you hike over fields and through a small forest to Oberkleinich. At the rest area at the old beech tree, a broad view of the Hunsrück opens up. You can also visit the local history museum in the old mill in Oberkleinich. You follow the path rising gently and reach the extensive forest area "Hochgerichtsheide". You walk on the old Poststrasse, a former long-distance post route of the Thurn und Taxis family.At the small refuge you turn left and get over the Halsterhöhe to the edge of the forest. There you can enjoy a wide view over the barrows of the archeology park "Belginum" and the colorful landscape of the Hunsrück. Informative panels provide interesting facts about life in the time of the Celtic and Roman colonization. Now it's back to the autumnal colorful forest - sometimes over wide paths, sometimes over narrow paths you hike to Götzeroth, where a great view awaits you. After a short detour into the valley of the Kautenbach, you are back at the starting point in Kleinich.
