Braunlage is located south of the Brocken in the middle of the Harz National Park and is one of the mountain bike hotspots of the northernmost low mountain range of Germany. Due to its central location in the Harz mountains, it's high up here: the highest point of this tour is 971 meters high. The is located on the Wurmberg, at the mountain station of the same mountain railway, which is also the start of four mega runs of the bike park Braunlage. But one after anonther. As you know, the best comes to the end. What we have built into this short, crisp Enduro round before, but also need not hide. For warmup you start on an idyllic path along the big Bode, before it goes uphill for the first time. At the top of the Achtermannshöhe you have already flattened 300 meters in altitude. It follows a flowiges up and down through the Harz National Park including historical highlight. The former inner German border reminds that one could not always drive around freely and enjoy nature here. With a little luck, you can also watch the Brockenbahn as it fights, snorting and steaming, to the high-lying Brocken station.Once you will still snort, then you have already reached the summit of Wurmberg. And now comes the well-deserved highlight of the tour: a 4.5 kilometer long descent down to the starting point of the round. You have the free choice. The tracks of the Bikepark Braunlage range from fun freeride downhill to challenging downhill pistes to the flowing enduro trail.
