The Kufsteiner Hausberg Pendling in the Brandenberg Alps presents itself to the Inn valley as a distinctive cone and is considered one of the most beautiful mountain views in the Tyrolean lowlands. The moderately difficult summit tour begins in Thiersee. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the fortified town of Kufstein, the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains. The peak area is also known for its flower splendor in late spring. From the parking lot at Gasthof Schneeberg in Thiersee, a well signposted hiking trail leads you into the forest. After about 15 minutes you leave the forest road in a right turn and follow a narrow trail, which is signposted "Pendling via forest road".After just over an hour you will reach the first summit cross at Pendling at 1,563 meters above sea level. It almost goes on to the second summit cross and slightly down to the Pendlinghaus. From there, the path leads you gently up and down to the Mittagskopf, which is only slightly lower with a height of 1,542 meters and also expects you with a magnificent view. You descend via a forest path and a small forest path over the managed Kala Alm back to the starting point.
