One of 13 tour sections around my hometown Wuppertal. The total length of the routes is approx. 104 km. With the kind permission of the Sauerland Mountain Association Dept. Wuppertal, taken from the book "Hiking in Wuppertal" (ISBN 978-3-00-064869-4).Note: I have transferred the tours to Komoot as best I can. When in doubt, always follow the Ⓦ sign (capital W in a circle). Have fun hiking!

Last Sunday, and right after Tour 9, I went this section. Right at the beginning you cross the Morsbach, the namesake of the valley that you walk through. Quiet paths along meadows and forests lead to the first highlight, the historic "Wüsten" house ensemble, right next to the traditional Ibach knife factory. The notice boards are worth reading. Passing the factory you come to the next highlight, the "MOOS" work of art, directly in the upper ditch of the factory (upper ditches were the waterways that were turned off the main body of water and used to operate the hammers). Then you hike for a while through the forest east of Cronenberg, on some long and steep climbs. Nevertheless, or perhaps because of it, a very beautiful, unspoilt section in and around the Rheinbachtal. Now it goes on along the southern Cronenberg towards Sudberg, over sometimes narrow, up and down paths. The last part is then again street, up to the stop "Sudberg". Overall, along with Tour 9, one of my favorites so far.
